October 2025

  • Proposal packages: Create proposals with tiered packages —up to three options with different price points and service levels. Add selling points and let clients compare options side-by-side before signing.

  • Redesigned account Info page: View essential client information —address, phone, additional details—at a glance. Manage portal access, notifications, email sync, and signatory status with easy-to-use checkboxes.

  • Job activity tracking: View all job-related actions in the Activity Feed —creation, updates, pipeline moves, status changes, and deletions—including who made each change and when.

  • New filtering options: Filter Marketplace templates by country and language, and Bookkeeping Hub transactions by payee type to quickly find what you need.

  • Firm name display in SMS: Automatically add a removable shortcode with your firm name to the beginning of SMS messages, helping clients identify your texts and avoid spam filters.

  • Team Chat enhancements: React faster with quick-access buttons for your three most-used emojis. View descriptions in read-only channels to understand their purpose.

September 2025

  • Bookkeeping Hub (Transactions): Process bookkeeping transactions directly in TaxDome with QuickBooks Online integration. Ask clients questions about specific transactions, receive responses with attachments, categorize items, and mark as reviewed—all syncing automatically with QuickBooks.

  • Notes redesign and improvements: Added search and filtering capabilities to the account notes page, introduced note titles for improved organization, added the ability to create notes directly from the Overview page, and more.

  • Intake date and Internal deadline for jobs: Track document intake and internal deadlines with two new date fields. Record when documents arrive and set team-only completion targets separate from client due dates, with bulk editing, filtering, and automations.

  • Color-coding for custom job statuses: Customize colors for your job statuses to improve visual organization. Applied to job cards on pipeline boards and status selectors for faster recognition and better workflow management.

  • Invoice preview action: Quickly preview invoices as they appear to clients without entering edit mode. Access preview directly from the invoice list to verify formatting, amounts, and templates before sending.

  • Jobs safety enhancement: Bulk delete now available for archived jobs only, with active jobs protected from mass deletion.

  • Proposals bulk delete: Manage proposals more efficiently with the ability to delete multiple proposals at once .

August 2025

  • Team chat—Browser notifications: Stay informed with browser push notifications for internal team chats. Choose notification types (all, mentions only, or off), receive alerts when inactive, and jump straight to the first unread message for faster, more responsive collaboration.

  • Chat notifications in system emails: Firms can now customize emails to clients to display chat titles without showing the message content, providing more flexibility while keeping clients informed.

  • Inbox+ account sorting: Sort notifications by account name while preserving filters and the To-do/Archived view.

  • New Text block question in client requests: Allows creating text fields to share information, documents, or links.

  • Archived notification info in Inbox+: See who archived a notification and when, preventing accidental confusion and giving admins better tracking of user actions.

  • Marketplace template sorting: Quickly sort templates by price for faster discovery and easier selection.

July 2025

  • New Team chats: Collaborate with your team inside TaxDome using firm-only channels and direct messages . Create public or private channels, use @mentions to notify teammates, and manage chats with message deletion and role-based permissions.

  • Improved document management for clients: Clients can drag and drop files to upload , review AI renamed files before saving, and view My uploads and Shared with me documents for faster access.

  • Redesigned email view: See all client emails inside the Communication tab with clearer navigation and visibility.

  • Read receipts in client chats: Track message statuses to see whether your clients have viewed your messages and when.

  • Inbox+ notification controls: Turn off notifications for messages from team members to keep your Inbox+ focused.

  • Timestamps on documents in the client portal: Exact upload times shown for today’s files and dates for older ones, enabling quicker document access.

  • Invoice source display: A new Invoice source column appears on the Invoices page. View the source entity for each invoice to easily understand where it came from and navigate related records.

  • Message actions in firm mobile app: Long-press messages to delete, copy, or reply for easier chat management on mobile.

June 2025

  • Redesigned client portal: Clients now see a cleaner home page with key tasks upfront and an improved top navigation menu, making it easier to access documents, invoices, and messages.

  • Unified chat & SMS view filters: Sort SMS and chat threads by read/unread status to track communications quickly.

  • Print chats with date: Printed chat threads now include dates for better recordkeeping.

  • Shortcodes in single threads: Add shortcodes to individual chat and SMS threads for more flexible messaging.

  • Improved notification archiving: New Archive for all in Inbox+ access right in Team & Plans lets you choose whether team members can archive notifications for everyone or just themselves.

  • Invoice number auto-fill: The next available invoice number is automatically pre-filled when creating invoices. Users can enter a custom number, and the system validates uniqueness—including with QuickBooks Online sync.

  • Copy client request answers: Quickly copy client answers with a new handy Copy button .

May 2025

  • Accounts page filters redesigned: Quickly save and edit favorites , and use rolling date ranges for dynamic, time-based filtering.

  • Unified threads for firm members: View all chat and SMS threads across clients in one list to streamline communication.

  • Pipeline sorting and layout improvements: Sort jobs and pipeline tasks directly from the pipeline page. Redesigned headers show more data for better usability.

  • New Support plans menu: Access setup help, training, and service packages faster with a new Support plans section in the left-hand menu—available to firms on trial or with active subscriptions.

  • Bulk proposal signature settings: Choose whether each proposal requires one or all listed signers and apply this to multiple proposals at once.

  • System email visibility: View all system-generated emails sent to clients in one place to maintain a full communication record.

  • Attach files to chat templates: Add documents directly to chat templates , saving time and keeping communication consistent.

  • Manage client requests access: Control which team members can create client requests with a new Manage client requests access right .

  • Pin messages in chats: Keep important messages at the top of the chat thread for quick access.

  • CRM filters: Filter accounts by SMS availability and activation status for faster management.

  • Improved account sorting in the client portal: Accounts in the client portal are now sorted by the number of to-do items, helping clients prioritize easily.
